 HIGH GRADE MECHANICAL – REFERRAL PROGRAM

Current HGM employees and members of the public can identify talented people in their network who may be suitable for vacant roles within High Grade Mechanical. Where a referred candidate is placed successfully in an eligible role, the referrer will receive a reward of a $100 gift card once new starter has completed their first 2-week swing.

If the referred employee stays with HGM for 4+ months, the referee will go into the annual major prize draw with a total value of $17,500!

If more than two candidates are referred and they stay with HGM for 4+ months you will receive a reward valued at $600!

HOW TO SUBMIT A REFERRAL:

Request that the referee apply by sending their resume to recruitment@hgmechanical.com.au and be sure to advise HGM that you have referred them. You must also advise HGM in writing of the referral.

If the candidate is successfully placed in an eligible role and they have completed their first 2-week swing or first two 7 or 8 day swings, you can claim your $100 gift card reward.

Please note that there is no limit on the number of candidate referrals per person.

Upon receiving a referral, we will review the applicant on their merits. High Grade Mechanical is not obliged to conduct an interview and the decision to employ the candidate is at the discretion of HGM.

Progress of the referred candidate’s application is a confidential matter between High Grade Mechanical and the candidate. The referring employee will only be notified if their referred candidate is successful in obtaining a role, once they have completed their first 2-week swing. Once they have completed 4 months of service with HGM, you will be notified of your entry into the major prize draw.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

All High Grade Mechanical site staff and members of the public are eligible to submit a referral. However, referrals that do not follow the correct process on ‘how to submit a referral’ will not be eligible to complete the program. This includes where the employee referral is submitted retrospectively i.e. received after the date of the first interview, or where the introduction is verbal. This program incentive can be removed at the discretion of management at any time. HGM head office staff are excluded from this competition. 

 REFERRALS OF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CANDIDATES WILL NOT ATTRACT A REFERRAL REWARD:

  • Candidates currently employed (or have previously worked) for High Grade Mechanical
  • Candidates who have already been referred by another employee
  • Candidates who have already submitted their application via another source
  • Candidates that are subcontractors (only candidates directly employed by High Grade Mechanical are eligible).

HOW WILL I BE REWARDED? 

The referred employee will be contacted direct to claim their reward upon the successful placement of a candidate and completion of their first 2-week swing. 

WHEN WILL THE THREE MAJOR PRIZES BE DRAWN? 

  • 1st prize – valued at $10k 
  • 2nd prize – valued at $5k 
  • 3rd price – valued at $2.5k 

The three major prizes will be drawn annually after 30th June, and the winners will be notified via email.
