Field Service Fitter, Rhys Whitehorn is shaving his beard and mullet in support of his best mate’s son Adam Werner, a 7-year-old who fought cancer through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Whitehorn initially supported Werner from afar, first shaving his mullet during Werner’s early rounds of chemotherapy. This time around, he’s raising much needed funds for the Leukaemia Foundation, having already smashed his target of $1,000. In a show of ongoing commitment, for every $100 raised above this Whitehorn will be re-shaving his hair at his local barber.
Whitehorn said “he was really grateful for High Grade Mechanical’s initial donation, and is really excited to support the foundation in their fight against cancer.”
